The Directorate of Defence of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, the Ministry of the Economy, the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) and Luxinnovation have the pleasure of inviting you to a webinar series for the Joint Call Defence 2024. The webinars will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the objectives of the call, the process of preparing project applications until 14 June 2024, and to ask your questions.

Following the success of the first joint call for projects in 2022, the organisers of the call are launching a second edition to offer companies and research organisations a funding opportunity that supports consortia to develop dual-use defence technologies (products, services, and systems). It is already possible to consult the objectives, call topics, and eligibility criteria of the call.

Based on the Luxembourg government’s ambition to support the national industry’s access to the defence market, the 2024 edition of the Joint Call Defence aims to encourage close and interactive collaborations between private companies and public research organisations (public-private partnerships) carrying out innovative research projects in the fields of smart mobility, resilient infrastructures, strategic foresight, and climate change adaptation.

The webinars will provide more information about the objectives and modalities of the call and will explain how to prepare project applications until 14 June 2024. The presentations will be followed by Q&A sessions where participants can ask their questions.
